Nucor Building Systems Indiana (NBSIN) is hiring a Safety & Health Technician to support safe, efficient operations. You will develop training materials, coach operators, and collaborate with operations and leadership to improve safety and performance on all shifts.

The role requires knowledge of OSHA/ANSI standards and the ability to obtain crane and forklift certifications. This full-time on-site position offers strong benefits and career development opportunities within NBG.

Qualifications

• Hands-on safety knowledge and training delivery.
• Ability to coach operators and monitor safety practices on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Develop safety processes and training materials for operations.
• Train operators on operation techniques, safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
• Evaluate operator performance and provide feedback with additional training as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve safety, efficiency, and downtime.
• Maintain a presence on all shifts to reinforce safety policies.
• Participate in maintenance projects involving new equipment and LOTO procedures.
