Jobot is seeking a Permanent Safety & Occupational Health Specialist to support our client's EHS programs. This role helps ensure compliance, promotes a safety culture, and minimizes risk across field and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Occupational Health, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Cert CSP/HAZWOPER and forklift trainer (post-hire possible).
• CPR and First Aid proficiency.
• Strong OSHA knowledge and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive safety programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Providing safety training and education to all employees, including CPR, First Aid, and Forklift operation.
• Managing and maintaining records of all safety-related incidents and conducting thorough investigations to prevent recurrence.
• Collaborating with management and employees to promote awareness and understanding of safety and occupational health policies and procedures.
• Preparing and presenting regular safety reports to management, highlighting trends, and suggesting improvements.
• Responding to emergency situations and coordinating with emergency response teams as necessary.
