AEP Service Corporation in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Safety and Health professional to advise management on S&H event policies, disseminate safety information, and lead the implementation of safety programs across their areas of responsibility.

The role involves conducting safety observations, assisting with event analyses, reviewing regulatory compliance, and supporting contractor safety adherence. Travel is required; a Bachelor's or equivalent experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in safety, health, industrial hygiene/health or relevant field; OR Associate degree in relevant field with two years’ experience in related electric utility field operations; OR High School diploma/GED with four years in S&H administration, field experience or related electric utility field operations experience.

Responsabilités

• Instruct, advise, and assist in carrying out safety and health programs, policies and procedures.
• Prepare and advise on materials for meetings and conferences in S&H event prevention.
• Conduct observations of personnel, tools and work practices to ensure safe procedures.
• Advise and assist in S&H event analysis and serve as a resource to event analysis committees.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable regulations.
