Job summary

Henkel Corporation is seeking a Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) professional for its Adhesive Technologies unit. This role involves supporting and maintaining SHE programs, conducting inspections, and assisting with corrective actions to reduce risk and improve compliance at the Bay Point, CA site.

You will participate in incident investigations, environmental compliance activities, and SHE training initiatives, while tracking metrics and supporting audits to strengthen overall site

Qualifications

• Familiarity with ISO 14001 environmental management and ISO 45001 safety standards.
• Experience supporting incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Ability to maintain regulatory records for hazardous waste, air emissions, and wastewater.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve site safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain site Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) programs and management systems, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Conduct safety and environmental inspections, identify hazards, and assist with corrective actions to reduce risk and improve compliance.
• Participate in incident investigations, root cause analyses, and follow‑up activities to support continuous improvement.
• Assist with environmental compliance programs, including hazardous waste management, air emissions, wastewater, stormwater, and regulatory recordkeeping.
• Support SHE training initiatives, employee awareness programs, and the integration of safe work practices into daily operations.
• Track and report SHE metrics, support audits and inspections, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to strengthen site performance.
