Job summary

Barrick Gold Corporation is seeking a Safety & Health Administrative Assistant in Carlin, NV. You will support the S&H team with administrative tasks, document control, data entry, and event coordination to ensure safe and compliant operations.

You will work within Nevada Gold Mines to help maintain routine reporting, assist with EHS systems, and liaise with staff to support health and safety initiatives in a mining environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Strong experience in Microsoft Office required.
• SAP, IsoMetrix, Element and other databases preferred.
• Ability to work independently to run multiple complex systems and tasks required.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills required.
• Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field preferred.
• One year mining industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining S&H weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance for all state and regulatory reporting.
• Support for IsoMetrix EHS management system.
• Purchasing and vendor payments in accordance with budgetary requirements.
• Data entry, document control, and recordkeeping of H&S information in multiple databases.
• Liaison between managers and employees; schedule appointments, meetings, and events.
