Job summary

Vanguard Renewables seeks a reliable Forklift Operator to move, load, and unload materials within the facility while upholding safety protocols. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, perform daily rounds, capture process data, and assist with maintenance work orders and SOPs.

The role requires a valid forklift certification, proven forklift experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A high school diploma and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification/license.
• Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle is required
• Ability to regularly lift, move, push and/or pull objects weighing up to 50lbs
• High School Diploma Required

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load, unload, and transport materials to designated areas.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Assist with managing the daily truck loads
• Complete daily rounds of equipment and capture process flows
• Accurately record all operational parameters and respond to unsatisfactory trends
• Write work orders on work management software to track repairs and scheduled maintenance
• Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures
• Supports and promotes the philosophy of maintaining an accident/incident free workplace
• Adheres to safety program with limited oversight of outside contractors
• Regularly communicates with internal personnel to ensure productivity within capacity
• Demonstrates knowledge of health and safety programs
• Participate in plant housekeeping and preventative maintenance planning
• Reliable and on-time attendance
• Other duties as required
