Job summary

Clark Water, LLC is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to support water utility construction and maintenance projects. This role involves operating heavy equipment to install, repair, and maintain water lines, mains, and related infrastructure, while collaborating with crews to meet safety and quality specifications.

Responsibilities include trenching, backfilling, interpreting utility plans, performing equipment inspections, and ensuring OSHA compliance on an active site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating a variety of heavy equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators and heavy equipment for trenching and material handling.
• Read and interpret utility plans, drawings, and grade stakes.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe worksite in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with foremen, laborers, and other operators.
• Support installation and repair of water mains, services, valves, hydrants.
• Adhere to Clark Standards of Excellence.
