Job summary

Milton Rents, a fast-growing equipment rental company with 16 locations across New England, is seeking a safety-focused CDL Truck Driver (Class B) to deliver and pick up construction equipment. This role ensures timely, professional service while upholding our safety standards.

Responsibilities include load securing, daily pre-trip inspections, and accurate delivery paperwork. The position offers competitive pay and a full benefits package, including health coverage and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license and current DOT medical card.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using GPS/navigation tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up rental equipment safely and on time.
• Load, unload, and secure equipment for transport.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and address issues promptly.
• Inspect returned equipment and document condition/damages.
• Complete delivery/pickup paperwork and photos accurately.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of truck and trailer.
