Job summary

Milton Rents is seeking a safety-focused CDL Truck Driver (Class B) to deliver and pick up construction equipment across our New England locations. You will load, secure, and inspect gear, ensuring on-time, professional service and adherence to all safety standards.

The role requires a valid CDL, a current DOT medical card, and about a year of driving experience. Weather conditions vary, and GPS navigation is used to reach sites efficiently while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using GPS/navigation tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up rental equipment safely and on time.
• Load, unload, and properly secure equipment for transport.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and address issues promptly.
• Inspect returned equipment and document condition/damages.
• Complete delivery/pickup paperwork and photos accurately.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of truck and trailer.
