Job summary

Milton Rents in New England and Upstate NY is seeking a safety-focused CDL Truck Driver (Class B) to deliver and pick up construction equipment. You will perform daily pre-trip inspections, load and secure loads, and ensure timely, professional service while maintaining our high safety standards.

We offer competitive pay of $34.68 per hour plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays and PTO, a 401(k) with company match, and paid training.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Comfortable using GPS/navigation tools.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up rental equipment safely and on time.
• Load, unload, and properly secure equipment for transport.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and address issues promptly.
• Inspect returned equipment and document condition/damages; complete paperwork and photos accurately.
• Follow all DOT regulations and company safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of truck and trailer.
