Job description

Renuity is seeking a Safety & Fleet Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for managing workers’ compensation claims, maintaining safety documentation, supporting OSHA compliance, tracking KPIs, and performing administrative tasks vital to the safety program. Additionally, the specialist will assist with fleet operations, including asset management, compliance, maintenance, and telematics.

Responsibilities include:

1. Supporting daily safety and fleet operations alongside the Safety & Fleet Director.
2. Managing work-related injury claims, coordinating with employees, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
3. Tracking claims, supporting return-to-work programs, and preparing OSHA logs and safety reports.
4. Maintaining digital records for incidents, claims, and compliance.
5. Overseeing fleet assets, maintenance, DOT compliance, telematics, and fuel management.
6. Managing driver qualification files, FMCSA Clearinghouse compliance, and enforcing safety policies.
7. Supporting budget tracking, cost-saving initiatives, and vendor management.
8. Acting as the subject matter expert and trainer for the Holman Insights fleet management system.
9. Coordinating vehicle transfers, end-of-life asset processes, and ensuring departmental communication.

Qualifications include:

1. Experience in safety administration and workers’ compensation claims.
2. Understanding of OSHA reporting and workers’ compensation procedures.
3. Fleet management experience, including driver qualification files.
4. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and the Clearinghouse Portal.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel, with strong data analysis skills.
6. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Knowledge of automotive systems and fleet operations.
