What you will do:

The Fleet Optimization Specialist will be responsible for analyzing fleet data to identify areas of opportunity for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance fleet operations. This role involves leveraging data analytics to optimize fleet performance, reduce costs, and improve internal customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

How you will do it:

  • Analyze fleet data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet operations and reduce costs.
  • Monitor and track fleet performance, including fuel consumption, mileage, and maintenance costs.
  • Maintain accurate records of all fleet-related activities and expenses.
  • Assist in the procurement and disposal of fleet vehicles.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve fleet efficiency and safety.
  • Collaborate with managers and other regional leaders to ensure seamless fleet operations and improve internal customer service.
  • Assist with the review and approval of escalations from a fleet management partner.
  • Respond to and resolve any issues or emergencies related to the fleet.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on fleet performance and optimization efforts.
  • Some travel required.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Data Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in fleet management, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, fleet management software, and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
