Job summary

Weyerhaeuser in Magnolia, MS is looking for a Production Supervisor to lead a shift of hourly associates, focusing on safety, quality and on-time production. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Forestry, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related degree or equivalent combo
• 3 years' supervisory or leadership experience in production or manufacturing
• Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills
• Strong planning, organization and facilitation skills
• Willing and able to work all shifts, including weekends
• Sawmill or wood products experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of hourly associates to achieve safety, quality and production goals
• Safely plan, organize, and deliver operational objectives
• Coordinate with Maintenance to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing
• Develop crewing schedules and training assignments
• Provide coaching, feedback, and discipline to improve team performance
• Ensure payroll accuracy for direct reports and conduct crew meetings
• Adhere to all laws and company policies and maintain a safe work environment
