Job summary

Eco Solution Distributing in Pittsburgh seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead our Chemical Rail Transload facility. You will oversee daily bulk loading and unloading, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive throughput while focusing on safety and risk reduction.

You will manage a skilled team, coordinate with Class I rail partners and clients, and supervise maintenance and asset planning for pumps, trackmobiles, and containment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years supervisory experience in rail transloading or chemical logistics.
• Deep DOT (49 CFR), OSHA, FRA and hazmat knowledge.
• HAZWOPER 40-hour preferred; TWIC card required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead inbound/outbound bulk chemical transfers between railcars and tanker trucks.
• Ensure rail car setups, loading profiles and manifests are accurate.
• Maintain OSHA/EPA/FRA/DOT compliance and assist audits when needed.
• Manage staff, training, and safety culture with reviews.
• Coordinate with Class I railroads and clients on throughput and quality testing.
