Job summary

Westlake in Wisconsin is seeking a forklift operator to move product and materials efficiently while following safety policies. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, handling shipments, and maintaining accurate records. Qualifications

• Able to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions, required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Westlake Safety Policies and Procedures
• Load trucks with the proper tile color and profile, in a timely manner
• Unload inner-company transfer trucks, and assist with unloading other shipment materials
• Complete shipping and receiving documents; record pick sheets/slip changes
• Maintain accurate inventory levels; document scrap material
• Yearly/Monthly inventory counting/reconciliation
• Review product loads to assure product being shipped meets quality specifications (Zero Breakage)
• Follow all safety and environmental protection rules and procedures
• Present self in a professional manner to internal/external customers at all times
• Adhere to housekeeping rules for yard and forklift
• Complete Forklift Check Sheet daily
• Work in non-controlled weather environment
• Perform other duties as directed
