Job summary

M&D Transportation, LLC is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious driver to transport wholesale goods between distribution centers and customer locations. This role emphasizes regulatory compliance, punctuality, and attentive loading, securing of cargo.

You will work Monday to Friday with some Saturdays; route begins at 5:00am. Starting pay is $18 per hour, with pay variation based on experience. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of nine (9) years of experience as a driver, preferably in delivery operations.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, safety protocols, and commercial vehicle operation.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company-owned vehicles to transport wholesale goods on designated routes.
• Ensure all loads are secured and handled with care to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Adhere to all Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics personnel regarding delivery status, delays, or operational concerns.
• Assist with minor vehicle troubleshooting and report maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure compliance with temperature-controlled transport requirements when applicable.
• Uphold M&D Transportation’s commitment to safety, customer service, and reliability.
