Job summary

M&D Transportation, LLC is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious driver to transport wholesale goods between distribution centers and customer locations. This role emphasizes regulatory compliance, safety, and punctuality.

The driver will operate company-owned vehicles, secure loads, perform inspections, and maintain records. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of nine (9) years of experience as a driver.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, safety protocols, and CV operation.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company-owned vehicles to transport wholesale goods on designated routes.
• Ensure all loads are secured and handled with care to prevent damage and maintain product integrity.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Adhere to all Federal and State motor vehicle regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of driving hours, deliveries, vehicle inspections, and incident reports.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics personnel regarding delivery status, delays, or operational concerns.
