Stella-Jones Corporation is seeking a Truck Driver to operate a commercial truck and transport materials to and from destinations, following DOT guidelines and safety protocols. The role includes loading/unloading, maintaining documents, and communicating with supervision to receive delivery instructions.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of trucking experience, a Class A CDL, and the ability to perform routine inspections and basic maintenance.

Qualifications

• One year certificate or equivalent in trucking training, or 3–6 months related experience.
• 2–4 years of commercial trucking experience; self-loaders/heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License required.

Responsabilités

• Loads and unloads products using a loader/boom with a grapple; offloads rail cars and other trucks and places products into yard bunks and onto trailers.
• Maintains records, documents, permits, and valid licenses for the truck/equipment.
• Assists in maintenance service of trucks, yard and support equipment as required.
• Drives to destinations including adverse weather and storm response.
• Ensures load tickets match shipping/receiving tickets and are signed, dated, and submitted on time.
• Maintains radio contact with supervisor for delivery instructions.
• Performs daily pre/post trip DOT inspections on truck, trailer, boom, and equipment.
