Job summary

EPITEC is seeking a Safety & Ergonomic Analyst in Waterloo, IA to support safety, ergonomics and risk reduction within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional aiming to grow in safety, ergonomics, industrial engineering, or EHS.

The position is fully onsite with a 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Metatarsal footwear and safety glasses are required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits and risk assessments to identify workplace hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Compile and analyze safety-related data, reports, and documentation.
• Support incident investigations and corrective action efforts.
• Assist with ergonomic evaluations of equipment, workstations, tools, packaging, and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct ergonomic risk assessments on new or relocated equipment.
• Document findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Support compliance with safety regulations and internal safety standards.
• Assist with safety and ergonomics training for employees and supervisors.
• Communicate safety and ergonomic findings to manufacturing teams and leadership.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on employee safety and efficiency.

We are seeking a Safety & Ergonomic Analyst to support safety, ergonomics, and risk reduction initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to begin a career in safety, ergonomics, industrial engineering, or environmental health and safety.

Pay
