Amrize is seeking an Inspection Technician for our Holly Hill, SC facility to perform scheduled inspections of fire safety systems, ladders, fall protections, and hoists, ensuring regulatory compliance and a safe workplace. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; 1–3 years in safety inspections, maintenance or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of MSHA standards and safety regulations is a plus.
• Comfortable working in industrial environments, at heights and on varied surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections on fire safety equipment and critical plant systems.
• Inspect ladders, fall protection, handrails, stairs, and walkways for compliance.
• Oversee and document annual fire extinguisher inspections with vendors and maintain logs.
• Inspect hoists, lifts, slings, and rigging equipment for wear and compliance.
• Maintain logbook entries for all inspections and promptly report safety concerns.
• Assist in emergency equipment checks (AEDs, eyewash stations) and ensure readiness.
