Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Occupational Safety, or similar field.
• 1 Year Experience as an Environmental and/or Safety Coordinator.
• Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Travel on a limited basis may be required.
• Ability to communicate with local, state, and federal agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and implementing safety policies and procedures.
• Perform regular inspections and audits to identify hazards.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and company policy adherence.
• Coordinate safety training with Learning & Development.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes.
• Maintain safety documentation and metrics.
• Conduct machine risk assessments and lockout-tagout support.
• Assist in environmental initiatives including waste management.
