Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Safety Manager to lead and enhance our safety program across manufacturing and office environments in the United States. The role involves conducting risk assessments, overseeing OSHA compliance, and coordinating fire safety activities.

A minimum of 2–3 years in a supervisory role and a Bachelor’s degree in safety-related fields are required. You will develop training programs, lead investigations, track safety metrics, and report findings to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Fire Protection, or related field.
• 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience with OSHA compliance, incident investigations, risk assessments, and emergency response programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses.
• Monitor workplace conditions for safety improvements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, federal, and local regulations.
• Coordinate fire drills and emergency preparedness activities.
• Manage fire protection systems and liaison with local fire departments.
• Lead investigations of accidents and incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Track safety metrics and present updates to management.
