Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is hiring a Safety Engineer in Phoenix, AZ for a 12-month contract with day shift. The role focuses on workplace safety, audits, hazard controls, and incident support.

You will conduct 6S safety audits, verify LOTO procedures, ensure signage and barricades, review critical safety docs, and collaborate with teams to mitigate risks while delivering clear end-of-shift reports.

Qualifications

• OSHA-30 Certification required.
• 1–2 years in a safety or compliance role.
• Experience with 6S, audits and documentation.
• Ability to stay on your feet and actively engage onsite.
• Strong communicator with a team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily 6S safety audits across operational areas.
• Ensure hazard-free zones, proper signage and barricades.
• Review critical safety documentation for accuracy.
• Validate LOTO procedures and equipment safety controls.
• Support incident investigations when needed.
• Partner with teams to resolve safety risks quickly.
• Deliver clear, professional end-of-shift reports.
