Dow Chemical is seeking a Safety Compliance Lead to join our Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada team. The role focuses on maintaining EH&S compliance across operations and driving a culture of safety through risk assessments, protocol development, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will support the Fort Saskatchewan Path2Zero initiative and contribute to net-zero emissions efforts while ensuring regulatory adherence and safe work practices across the site.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Environmental Health & Safety and related work processes.
• Ability to organize tasks, manage priorities, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Experience guiding EH&S initiatives and change management efforts.

Responsibilities

• Executes EH&S programs following established processes and industry best practices.
• Ensures environmental, health and safety standards are integrated into plant operations.
• Acts as a resource for plant staff on EH&S insights and compliance information.
• Serves as the primary contact for environmental and industrial hygiene concerns.
• Trains and supports teams in EH&S protocol implementation.
• Works toward EH&S performance indicators and goals.
• Completes all safety and regulatory compliance activities.
• Conducts environmental and industrial hygiene assessments including data analysis and reporting.
