Job summary

Dow Chemical Company is seeking a Safety Compliance Lead to drive EH&S initiatives at the Fort Saskatchewan site, Alberta, Canada. You will monitor regulatory adherence, conduct risk assessments, and implement safety protocols to support net-zero and sustainable operations.

You will train staff, act as a resource on environmental issues, and track performance indicators while collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into daily plant activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 years of EH&S experience or a similar field.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Executes EH&S programs following structured processes and best practices.
• Integrates environmental, health, and safety standards into plant operations.
• Serves as the designated contact for environmental and industrial hygiene concerns.
• Trains teams in EH&S protocols and supports change management initiatives.
• Monitors compliance requirements, conducts risk assessments, and analyzes data.
