Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years supervision in mining/mineral processing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot process equipment and controls.
• Knowledge of environmental laws, MSHA and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work at heights, confined spaces, and incident command procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture site wide.
• Monitor production to maximize safe practices, efficiency and quality.
• Implement and sustain production standards.
• Lead environmental changes necessary for operations.
• Prioritize operator work and conduct safety, environmental and quality meetings.
• Initiate best practices to optimize recovery, water, reagents and energy use.
• Minimize consumables while maximizing finished product output.
• Maintain operations records, personnel records and schedules.
