Job summary

Rio Tinto Borates is seeking Mine Operations Operator D for our Boron, CA site. You will operate haul trucks, supervise safety, and support processing facilities in a demanding open-pit environment. The role includes 12-hour day/night shifts, occasional maintenance, and strict environmental controls.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work any schedule.
• Experience operating process/production equipment.
• Experience with forklifts, industrial machinery, dryers and agitated tanks.
• Some technical computer skills.
• Current and valid state civil driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks to haul ore, waste, gangue, or other specified material.
• Outdoors, 12-hour day/night shifts.
• Ensure production equipment is operating correctly.
• Conduct minor maintenance on equipment.
• Wash and clean process equipment per standards.
• Prevent release of process material to environment by monitoring and taking corrective action.
