Job summary

Hexion is hiring a Chemical Operator at our Wisconsin on-site facility. You will operate and monitor complex production equipment, ensure safety and environmental standards, and support quality and continuous improvement across batch and continuous processes.

The role requires mechanical aptitude, 2+ years in manufacturing, and the ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime. You will use SAP for inventory and production tasks and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in industrial/manufacturing preferred.
• Mechanical troubleshooting ability required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read technical documents, schematics, and procedures.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs, respirator use, confined space entry.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot equipment and control systems.
• Blend tanks, load/unload raw materials and finished products.
• Perform SAP transactions for inventory and production tracking.
• Follow SOPs to meet production goals and product specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance and assist in shutdown/startup procedures.
• Contribute to root cause analyses and process improvement initiatives.
