FDRsafety is seeking a Safety Director near Madison, WIfor a large contractor in the construcion industry. This individual will strategize and develop safety policies and programs to promote a strong Safety culture. This role will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of safety policies as well as the development of best-in-industry safety practices.

Required Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in health and safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or related field required.
  • At least 15 years of occupational health and safety experience in the construction industry orelectrical power/utilities industry is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of applicable Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
  • (OSHA) standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct training.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Proven expertise in team development and mentorship capabilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
