General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a Safety Data Management Specialist to lead its Safety & Health data tracking, analysis, and communication at the Quonset Point facility in North Kingstown, RI. The role offers a clear career path and collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will independently compile, analyze, and trend data, identify leading indicators, and report findings to Operations leadership and Corporate Leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Bachelor of Science degree or higher with 2 years data management/analysis experience, or 5 years data management/analysis experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the tracking, analysis, and communication of Safety & Health data.
• Identify leading indicators to predict and prevent injuries.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership and Corporate Leadership to share data insights.
• Perform statistical analysis of Safety & Health data to identify trends and inform program improvements.
• Manage and coordinate Safety & Health programs such as safety deficiency tracking and SIF program.
• Coordinate actions and commitments assigned by Safety personnel and EB leadership.
• Assist with administrative duties including travel, correspondence, and IT/communications requests.
• Collaborate and periodically travel between EB Groton CT and EB Quonset Point RI facilities to align data management strategies.
