Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking a Safety Data Management Specialist to lead data tracking, analysis, and communication for Safety & Health initiatives at the Groton facility. The role includes continuous data improvement, leading indicators, and coordination with operations and executive leadership.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel, and experience in safety-related data management, with occasional travel

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor of Science degree OR 5+ years of documented data management or data analysis experience.
• 2+ years of data management or data analysis experience.
• Experience with regulatory data tracking and OSHA references is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead organization in Safety & Health data tracking, analysis, and communication.
• Identify leading indicators to predict and prevent injuries.
• Utilize technology to track and trend injury/illness data and leading indicators.
• Communicate Safety & Health data to Operations leadership and Corporate Leadership.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends and provide recommendations for program improvement.
• Coordinate Safety & Health programs and manage related databases and tracking systems.
• Support administrative duties such as travel, correspondence, and IT/communication requests.
• Travel between EB Groton CT and EB Quonset Point RI facilities to align data strategies.
