Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Safety Coordinator for our Decatur, IL location. The role operates 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, offering a salary range of $60K to $80K depending on experience.

You will support environmental, health, and safety programs in a food-grade manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include data entry for compliance tracking, incident investigations, audits, and continuous improvement of safety metrics.

• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking to all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Data entry for compliance tracking.

• Preparation for audits and inspections.
• Implement processes and procedures to continuously improve safety metrics.
• Provide presentations and training for relative topics.
• Scanning, saving, maintaining records.
• Manage safety procedures and documents.

Qualifications for Safety Coordinator

• Experience in environmental, health and safety or compliance in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to analyze data and programs to understand opportunities for continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and speaking to all levels of the organization
• Ability to work as a member of a team and develop relationships
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to climb stairs
• A bachelors degree in a relative field is preferred but experience will also be considered
