HazTek Safety Management is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to support our commercial construction projects in Wilkes-Barre, PA. The role focuses on ensuring OSHA compliance, conducting investigations, and promoting a safety-first culture on site.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of construction safety experience, OSHA 30 Construction certification, and deep knowledge of fall protection, scaffolding, steel erection, and excavation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required.
• Experience with Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee safety aspects of commercial construction projects to ensure OSHA compliance.
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations.
• Ensure all personnel wear PPE and adhere to safety protocols.
• Perform daily safety audits and inspections.
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment for safe operation.

Responsibilities

HazTek is hiring an experienced Safety Coordinator in Wilkes Barre, PAto support our growing commercial construction projects. If you’re passionate about making an impact, driving compliance, and building a culture where every worker goes home safe, we want you on our team.

• Oversee aspects of a commercial construction projects ensuring OSHA compliance
• Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations
• Ensure all personnel wear their personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Daily safety audits and inspections
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required
• OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required

• Electrical and Fall Protection a plus
