The role focuses on enforcing safety standards, conducting orientations, and providing training for field staff while ensuring OSHA compliance across projects. Ideal candidates will have 3+ years of commercial construction safety experience, OSHA 30 or 510 certification, and strong familiarity with safety documentation and tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial construction safety is required.
• Familiar with desktop computers, laptops, tablets and smartphones.
• OSHA 30 or 510 certification with at least 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• All phases of branch Safety Lean support and enforcement.
• Safety and Lean checklists and inspections.
• Conduct new hire orientations and skill assessments.
• Provide training and licensing for field personnel for tools and equipment.
• Develop site specific safety plans and document incidents.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• All phases of branch Safety Lean Support and Enforcement
• Safety Checklist Lean Checklist Inspections
• Conduct New Hire Orientations and Skill Assessments when required
• Supportive documentation
• Provide training and licensing for field personnel task to work with tools and equipment ie Hilti Tools MEWPs Lull & Forklift operations Scaffolds Ladders and Stilts
• Support Management team in creating New Job Start Up requirements ie contract safety documents JSSP SSSP OCIP CCIP requirement etc
• Ensures a Safe and Healthy work environment that adheres with OSHA guidelines
• Accompany and support injured employees attend initial doctor appointments support until employee is released to full duty
• Ability to understand communicate construction activities identify hazards and develop appropriate safety controls
• Site Specific Safety Plans SSSPs
• Ensures all documentation is completed for any Accident Incident or Property Damage
• Other duties as needed

Requirements

• 3 years in commercial construction safety experience
• Has knowledge of desktop computers laptops iPad smartphones and various other electronic devises
• OSHA 30 or 510 with minimum 3 years experience
• Precision Walls Trained Trainer provided by a Branch Safety Coordinator Safety QQC Safety Manager or Branch supporting SQRMB
