Job summary

Precision Walls seeks a Bilingual Safety Coordinator to lead safety, enforce OSHA guidelines, and support lean initiatives across our commercial construction branches. You will manage trainings, start-up safety requirements, and patient documentation for field teams.

The role requires 3 years in construction safety, OSHA 30 or 510 credentials, and a trainer mindset to guide crews through equipment operations and safety protocols. This position is on-site in North Carolina.

Qualifications

  • 3 years in commercial construction safety experience.
  • Knowledge of desktop computers, laptops, iPad, smartphones and other devices.
  • OSHA 30 or 510 with minimum 3 years’ experience.
  • Precision Walls Trained Trainer program available via branch safety team.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of branch safety, lean support, and enforcement.
  • Perform safety and lean inspections with checklists.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and skill assessments; maintain supporting documentation.
  • Provide safety training and licensing for field personnel on tools and equipment.
  • Develop site-specific safety plans and ensure OSHA compliance.
  • Document accidents, incidents, and property damage; ensure corrective actions.

Precision Walls has an exciting opportunity for a Bilingual Safety Coordinator - OSHA 30 to join our team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • All phases of branch Safety / Lean Support and Enforcement.
  • Safety Checklist / Lean Checklist Inspections.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientations and Skill Assessments (when required). Supportive documentation.
  • Provide training and licensing for field personnel task to work with tools and equipment i.e. Hilti Tools, MEWPs, Lull & Forklift operations, Scaffolds, Ladders and Stilts.
  • Support Management team in creating New Job Start Up requirements i.e. contract safety documents, JSSP/ SSSP, OCIP -CCIP requirement etc.
  • Ensures a Safe and Healthy work environment that adheres with OSHA guidelines.
  • Accompany and support injured employees, attend initial doctor appointments, support until employee is released to full duty.
  • Ability to understand communicate construction activities, identify hazards, and develop appropriate safety controls.
  • Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs)
  • Ensures all documentation is completed for any Accident, Incident or Property Damage.
  • Other duties as needed.
Requirements / Experience
  • 3 years in commercial construction safety experience.
  • Has knowledge of desktop computers, laptops, iPad, smartphones, and various other electronic devises.
  • OSHA 30 or 510 with minimum 3 years’ experience
  • Precision Walls Trained Trainer (provided by a Branch Safety Coordinator, Safety QQC, Safety Manager or Branch supporting SQRM).
