Job summary

Edw. C. Levy Co. is seeking a Safety Coordinator at the Fulton Mill Services location in Delta, OH. The role focuses on clerical and administrative support for the division’s safety programs, with emphasis on policy implementation, training development, and documentation management.

The successful candidate will have safety-related experience, knowledge of OSHA/DOT/EPA standards, and strong computer skills. Travel to sites may be required; high school diploma is required, with degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Safety related experience or internship
• Knowledge of OSHA, DOT and EPA standards
• Knowledge of any local or state required safety standards
• Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal format individually and in group settings
• Ability to travel
• High School diploma required Degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of safety and environmental policies, regulations and programs
• Assist with the development/facilitation of safety and environmental training
• Maintain and organize safety documentation, reports and records
• Conduct site inspections with manager
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding safety concerns
• Schedule Thrid Party safety inspections for equipment, as required
• Conduct regulatory compliance and training records
• Support incident investigation, including spills, by collecting data, preparing reports and assisting with corrective actions
• Order and maintain PPE
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

Responsibilities
