Job summary

Amteck is hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to oversee the safety of electrical trades on each job site, conduct safety audits, and take prompt action for any accidents or incidents.

The role provides opportunities to influence safety performance within a high-standard program, along with competitive wages, per diem, and comprehensive benefits across projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations in regards to construction.
• Ability to lead, influence, and motivate staff in safety procedures.
• Experience overseeing safety for electrical tradesmen.
• Certification requirements: OSHA 10/30; OSHA 500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all electrical trades on each job site.
• Perform safety audits and take appropriate action for accidents/incidents.
• Support safety program implementation and enforce procedures.

We are currently hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to join our team. Our Safety Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the safety of all electrical trades on each job site they are assigned to support as well as perform safety audits and take the appropriate course of action for any accidents and/or incidents that occur.

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations in regards to construction
• Prior experience overseeing the safety for electrical tradesmen
• Ability to effectively lead, influence, and motivate staff in regards to safety procedures
• Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 strongly preferred
