Job summary

Amteck is seeking Traveling Safety Coordinators to join our field safety team. You will oversee the safety of electrical trades on each job site, conduct safety audits, and enforce our safety program while traveling between project locations.

The role requires a solid OSHA background, the ability to lead field crews, and quick action on incidents. Frequent travel and a commitment to zero incidents are expected as part of maintaining our Diamond safety rating.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations for construction sites.
• Experience overseeing safety for electrical tradesmen on job sites.
• Strong leadership, influencing and motivating staff on safety procedures.
• OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all electrical trades on each assigned job site.
• Perform regular safety audits and take corrective actions for incidents.

We are currently hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to join our team. Our Safety Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the safety of all electrical trades on each job site they are assigned to support as well as perform safety audits and take the appropriate course of action for any accidents and/or incidents that occur.

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations in regards to construction
• Prior experience overseeing the safety for electrical tradesmen
• Ability to effectively lead, influence, and motivate staff in regards to safety procedures
• Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 strongly preferred
