Job summary

The Restaurant Store seeks a Safety Coordinator to support warehouse leadership in enforcing safety standards, implementing process updates, and assisting with equipment training. You will conduct inspections, lead accident investigations, and maintain forklift certification records while promoting a safety-focused culture.

Based in Lebanon, TN, you will work with teams to meet daily safety goals, report hazards, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing safety processes and training.
• Ability to perform inspections and investigations.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and PPE management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct warehouse safety walks to identify issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Inspect safety areas (emergency exits, fire extinguishers, eyewash stations) periodically.
• Maintain PPE inventory and restock first-aid stations.
• Complete monthly inspections of extinguishers and eyewash, reporting findings to the on-site safety manager.
• Assist in new hire equipment and group safety training via presentations and written materials.
• Maintain forklift training records for all employees.
• Provide regular updates to management on safety issues.
• Meet performance standards for efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by following safety guidelines and reporting hazards.
• Collaborate to meet daily/weekly/monthly departmental goals.
• Adhere to all company and warehouse policies.
• Flex into other roles to support overall operations.

• Complete monthly fire extinguisher and eye wash station inspections, reportingfindings tothe on-site safety manager.
• Assist inconductingone-on-onenew hire training related to equipment operations andgroupsafety procedures?via presentations/written materials.
• Maintain organized forklift training records for all employees, ready for inspection at any time
• Provideregularupdates to the management team regarding workplace safety issues?
• Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.
