Job summary

Placed is seeking a Traveling Safety Coordinator to support an active construction project in West Virginia. This site-based, traveling role requires hands-on safety leadership with project teams to uphold high safety standards on day-to-day operations.

You will conduct daily safety inspections, lead toolbox talks, ensure OSHA compliance, and document incidents while coordinating with Superintendents and subcontractors. Night shifts available; CHST preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of construction site safety and OSHA standards.
• Comfortable working directly with field teams and subcontractors.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel for projects.
• CHST certification is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

Traveling Safety Coordinator - West Virginia

Placed is working with an established General Contractor looking for an experienced Safety Coordinator to support an active construction project in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.

This is a site based, traveling position for someone who is comfortable being hands on with project teams and taking responsibility for maintaining strong safety standards across day to day construction operations.

The role will include:

• Conducting daily site safety inspections and identifying potential hazards
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety procedures
• Leading toolbox talks, safety orientations and regular safety meetings
• Working closely with Superintendents, Project Managers and subcontractors on site

There are day and night shift opportunities, with the night shift running approximately 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM.
