Job Summary

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for safety, on-the-job training, and quality activities at the station, aiming to reduce employee injuries, aircraft, and equipment damages. The Safety Coordinator is also a subject matter expert on various processes, systems, and procedures as defined by the Director of Safety/Training.

The expected pay rate is $22-24/hr. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

Your Activities

• Provide safe guidance on fueling equipment and other company vehicles within aircraft gate parking or restricted visibility areas.
• Prepare aircraft with the required fueling equipment such as ladders or stands for fueling operations.
• Support the removal of fueling equipment when necessary.
• Assist fueling operations with the aircraft fueling process, including equipment removal.
• Provide support with materials like fuel tickets and electronic equipment to fueling staff upon request.
• Transport fueling staff using company vehicles.
• Operate company support vehicles following all safety policies and procedures.
• Obey all airport, customer, and company driving regulations.

Your Profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid New York State Driver's License.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all management levels.
• Ability to work in teams with minimal supervision.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
