Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support a nationwide workforce of over 100 traveling field technicians. You will own compliance, training programs, PPE management, and incident handling to keep teams safe and operations running smoothly.

This 2-year contract offers remote Fridays, regular hours, and opportunities to influence safety culture across multiple sites, with a focus on documentation, audits, and cross-functional collaboration with leadership and customers.

Qualifications

• Experience administering PPE programs, including ordering and inventory management.

Duration: 2-Year Contract with Extension Potential

We're looking for a Safety Coordinator to support a growing nationwide workforce of more than 100 traveling field technicians. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys owning compliance and training programs, and wants to make a direct impact on employee safety and operational success.

What You'll Do

As the Safety Coordinator, you'll serve as a key resource for workforce readiness, compliance, and safety operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage PPE ordering, inventory, distribution, and compliance tracking
• Track employee certifications, training requirements, and recertification schedules
• Maintain training records and compliance documentation
• Support onboarding and workforce readiness initiatives
• Assist with incident reporting, investigations, corrective actions, and compliance reviews
• Serve as a primary point of contact for safety, training, PPE, and compliance-related questions
• Partner with internal leadership and customer safety teams to ensure regulatory compliance
• Promote a proactive safety culture through communication, training, and continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Safety, EHS, Compliance, Workforce Readiness, Training Coordination, or a similar function
• Background supporting industrial, construction, manufacturing, energy, utilities, field services, or related environments
• Experience managing training records, certifications, compliance documentation, and recertification programs
• Experience administering PPE programs, including ordering, inventory management, and compliance monitoring
• Experience supporting incident response, investigations, and corrective action processes
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with reporting/tracking systems
• Excellent organization and project coordination abilities
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across field teams, leadership, vendors, and customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Business, Human Resources, or a related field
• Experience supporting wind energy, renewable energy, utilities, construction, or heavy industrial organizations
• Knowledge of GWO standards and certifications
• Experience supporting traveling or rotational workforces

Schedule & Travel

• Friday: Remote
• Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Flexibility to support occasional after-hours or weekend safety matters as needed
• Travel to field sites as required

Compensation:

$32/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
