Job summary

A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Bilingual Safety Coordinator to ensure compliance with safety regulations and to promote a safe work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety practices within manufacturing, with additional experience in OSHA standards preferred. This full-time position requires someone who can effectively manage safety records and lead safety initiatives across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of manufacturing environment with safety background required.
• OSHA experience preferred (OSHA 10 or OSHA 30).
• Ability to work on all 3 shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare safety meeting notes and maintain accurate safety records.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds and equipment.
• Lead safety activities and conduct employee investigations related to injuries.

DIRECT HIRE BILINGUAL SAFETY COORDINATOR WITH LOCAL MANUFACTURER!

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare safety meeting notes
• Maintain accurate and up to date safety/training records
• Track and post OSHA required data and file reports
• Lead safety activities and assist with monthly meetings
• Perform regular physical inspections of company grounds, buildings, equipment and operation
• Identify hazards and potential regulator non-compliance and recommend corrective measures
• Ability to initiate, implement and lead team projects to completion
• Conduct employee investigations due to workplace injuries
