Job summary

Progressive Safety is seeking an experienced Safety Consultant to support a major construction project in De Soto, KS. You will lead safety initiatives, conduct toolbox talks, and perform hazard analyses to protect workers on-site.

Ideal candidates have OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid, and strong communication and leadership skills to adapt in a fast-paced environment while ensuring compliance with OSHA and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years of construction safety experience
• Must have OSHA 30 + CPR/First Aid
• Ideally OSHA 510 (construction)
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives and enforce policies to create a proactive safety culture.
• Train and educate workers through toolbox talks on best practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks with job hazard analyses and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses; develop corrective action plans.
• Ensure site compliance with OSHA, federal, and state regulations.
• Collaborate with site management and contractors to maintain a safe site.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum of 1+ years of construction safety experience(Mega-project experience is a plus: data centers, manufacturing, EV, etc.)
• Strong knowledgeofOSHA regulations and construction safety practices
• Must have OSHA 30 + CPR/First Aid
• Ideally OSHA 510 (construction)
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving job site
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
