Job summary

Bowman Steel LLC is seeking a Safety Coordinator to enforce a safe and compliant work environment across multiple states. You will monitor construction sites, ensure adherence to OSHA standards, and lead training initiatives to reduce incidents. A company vehicle is provided and travel is required.

The role requires 1–2 years in safety, OSHA 10/30 certification, and strong communication and leadership skills to drive safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in safety roles within construction or industrial environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and PPE protocols.
• Ability to train workers on safety practices and EHSPs.
• Willingness to travel to different job sites across states.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site safety management across construction sites and buildings.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA standards and fall protection rules.
• Develop and deliver safety training and EHSPs to workers.
• Develop and enforce safety policies to reduce accidents.
• Maintain safety equipment, company phone and vehicle responsibilities.

Your New Role

As a Safety Coordinator , you’ll be the go‑to expert for ensuring a safe and compliant work environment across Different States. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Site Safety Management: Monitor construction sites, commercial buildings, and skilled trade environments to identify and eliminate hazards.


• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA standards, fall protection protocols, and PPE requirements.


• Training & Education: Implement Environmental Health and Safety Plans (EHSP) and train workers on best practices.


• Incident Prevention: Develop and enforce safety policies to reduce workplace accidents.


• Equipment Oversight: Maintain company‑provided safety equipment, phone, laptop, and company vehicle.

Job requirements

• Experience: 1-2 years in a safety role, preferably in structural steel construction.


• Certifications: OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 required


• Skills & Qualifications:


• Strong knowledge of fall protection and PPE requirements


• Experience working from heights


• Excellent communication and leadership abilities


• Additional Requirements:


• Must pass a background check and drug test


• Must be open to travel within job site locations
