Position Overview: This person will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and maintaining safety policies and procedures within the Cleveland facilities in order to foster a safe working environment and culture for all employees.

Training: Provided on the job and supplemented with external seminars/classes.
Qualifications:
Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety or a related field required; Safety Related Certifications (BCSP, OSHA 10/30, COSS, etc) a plus
Experience: 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment as a safety professional; Knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations; Ability to work with all levels of employees; Bi-lingual/Multi-lingual is a plus

Physical Requirements: Occassional periods of sitting or standing at an individual workstation with computer work. Heavy emphasis of on the floor work. Must be able to stand, bend, reach, and walk for duration of shift.
Working Conditions: Temperature-regulated office and manufacturing environment.
