Job summary

Pact MSO seeks a Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator under the supervision of the Quality Manager to implement and maintain the organization’s quality and patient safety program, including infection control.

The role requires visiting medical offices to guide staff on safety policies, coordinating assessments and trainings, educating employees on OSHA standards, and monitoring metrics to ensure compliance and continual improvement.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree required; bachelor's preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in quality and safety.
  • 2 years in a position or safety department.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate to staff on quality and patient safety policies and guidelines
  • Participate on committees and attend appropriate meetings
  • Ensure patient safety and quality protocols and processes are being followed by medical practices
  • Visiting medical offices to provide guidance, education and coaching on patient safety and quality protocols
  • Coordinate and complete assessments, inspections, and trainings to sites and divisions
  • Educate employees and all staff regarding OSHA regulations, standards, and company safety
  • Complete OSHA annual reports, if required.
  • Monitor metrics to ensure safety and quality measures are being met

Job description

Summary

Under general supervision of the Quality Manager and in collaboration with the leadership of PACT MSO and PACT, LLC, this position is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the organization's quality and patient safety program, including infection control.

Essential Functions
  • Communicate to staff on quality and patient safety policies and guidelines
  • Participate on committees and attend appropriate meetings
