Job summary

Socket.dev in Billings, MT seeks a full-time Safety and Compliance Specialist to manage incident reports, maintain OSHA records, and lead inspections. You will coordinate tests, provide PPE, and generate monthly safety reports for a safe workplace.

You will train staff, lead the Safety Committee, assist with new employee orientation, and ensure regulatory compliance across OSHA, Fire, EPA. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential for success.

• Issue disciplinary warnings and counsel employees.

• Environment, Health, and Safety or equivalent experience preferred, but not required; CSP preferred, but not required.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or certification preferred, but not required.
• Workers Compensation knowledge and work experience preferred, but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
