Job description

If You’re in the Business of Protecting People, You’ll Fit Right In.

If you are in the business of saving lives and want to work at a company that values its employees above all else, then there is a place waiting for you at SevenGen. We have a deep appreciation for our communities and our environment. We provide exceptional service, and our pursuit of excellence is tireless. Through these core values, we're building a team of talented professionals who believe their work should make a meaningful difference every day.

We're looking for a Safety Project Manager with strong technical expertise in occupational safety who can confidently lead projects through SevenGen's Proven Process. You'll partner with clients to solve complex workplace safety challenges while delivering projects on scope, on budget, and on schedule.

Why This Role Matters:

Safety projects don't succeed on effort alone. They succeed when someone has the technical judgment to understand risk, the discipline to manage scope and budgets, and the leadership to align people toward a successful outcome.

At SevenGen, the Safety Project Manager is that person.

In this role, you'll combine technical safety expertise with project leadership to guide consulting projects from kickoff through final deliverables. You'll partner with clients to solve complex workplace safety challenges, lead projects through SevenGen's Proven Process, and ensure every engagement is delivered with clarity, quality, and exceptional service.

If you enjoy solving problems, building trusted client relationships, and taking ownership of meaningful work, you'll find an opportunity to grow both professionally and personally at SevenGen.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?
  • Lead meaningful safety consulting projects across a diverse range of manufacturing and industrial environments.
  • Combine technical expertise with project leadership and client partnership.
  • Work alongside experienced Certified Safety Professionals, Industrial Hygienists, and Project Managers who enjoy sharing knowledge and developing one another.
  • Build long‑term client relationships by becoming a trusted advisor, not simply a consultant.
  • Continue growing your technical expertise through meaningful project work, mentorship, and professional development.
Who You'll Work With

You’ll work alongside a collaborative team of Safety Professionals, Industrial Hygienists, Project Managers, Account Managers, and technical leaders who are committed to helping one another succeed.

You’ll partner closely with clients throughout every stage of the project lifecycle while collaborating internally with Business Development, Operations, and fellow technical experts to deliver exceptional outcomes.

You’ll independently lead projects while always having the support of an experienced team behind you.

What You’ll Do:

As a Safety Project Manager, you’ll lead projects from proposal through final deliverables while ensuring an exceptional experience for both clients and teammates.

You’ll:

  • Lead safety consulting projects through SevenGen's Proven Process, ensuring projects remain on scope, on budget, and on schedule.
  • Conduct safety assessments, audits, and program evaluations across manufacturing and industrial environments.
  • Evaluate workplace hazards and develop practical, defensible recommendations that improve worker safety while supporting operational success.
  • Interpret OSHA regulations and industry best practices to help clients navigate complex compliance and risk management challenges.
  • Prepare clear, concise technical reports, written programs, procedures, and recommendations that translate technical findings into actionable solutions.
  • Build trusted client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and exceptional service.
  • Support and coach junior consultants by sharing technical knowledge, project management best practices, and consulting skills.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Project Managers, and technical teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project quality, strengthen internal processes, and elevate the client experience.
  • Represent the SevenGen brand through professionalism, technical excellence, and a genuine commitment to protecting people and the environment.
What Success Looks Like:

Within your first year, you’ll be someone who:

  • Successfully leads multiple consulting projects with confidence and consistency.
  • Is recognized by clients as a trusted advisor who delivers practical, high-quality safety solutions.
  • Delivers projects that consistently meet expectations for quality, schedule, scope, and budget.
  • Supports and develops junior consultants through coaching, collaboration, and technical guidance.
  • Represents SevenGen's values through exceptional service, teamwork, and technical excellence.
Your First 90 Days

We don't expect you to know everything on day one. We'll provide the support, relationships, and resources you need to become a successful leader at SevenGen.

First 30 Days
  • Learn SevenGen's Proven Process, project management systems, and quality standards.
  • Build relationships with teammates, clients, and internal partners.
  • Begin supporting active projects while becoming familiar with our consulting approach.

  • Independently manage assigned projects while confidently communicating with clients and internal teams.
  • Develop confidence balancing technical work, project management, and client expectations.
  • Begin supporting junior consultants through collaboration and technical guidance.

  • Lead projects independently from kickoff through final deliverables.
  • Be recognized as a trusted resource for clients and teammates.

What You’ll Bring
Experience:
  • 3 - 7 years of safety consulting or related safety experience, including at least 1 year of safety consulting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Safety Engineering, or Environmental Health, or a related discipline.
  • Previous experience managing projects and coordinating multiple client priorities.
  • Candidate has obtained, or is in pursuit of, the ASP or CSP designation.

  • Communicates clearly and confidently with clients, teammates, and project stakeholders.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment while taking ownership of your work.
  • Stays organized, manages competing priorities effectively, and follows through on commitments.
  • Continuously seeks opportunities to learn, improve, and help others succeed.
You’ll Thrive Here If:
