We have a deep appreciation for our communities and our environment. We provide exceptional service, and our pursuit of excellence is tireless. Through these core values, we're building a team of talented professionals who believe their work should make a meaningful difference every day.

We're looking for an On-site Safety Professional who will become a trusted member of our client's team while remaining an integral part of the SevenGen family.

Why This Role Matters:

We're looking for an On-site Safety Professional who will become a trusted member of our client's team while remaining an integral part of the SevenGen family.

Based full-time at a leading orthopedic manufacturing facility in Warsaw, Indiana, you'll serve as the primary owner of the site's Permit-to-Work and Contractor Safety Management programs. Working alongside a client with a proactive, world-class approach to health and safety, you'll help ensure high-risk work is planned, executed, and completed safely while partnering with facilities, EHS, operations, engineering, contractors, and leadership to continuously strengthen an already exceptional safety culture.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems before they become incidents, and bringing consistency, accountability, and sound judgment to complex work. You'll make a visible impact every day while enjoying the support, development, and culture that come with being part of SevenGen.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?
  • Full-time embedded role at a leading orthopedic manufacturing facility in Warsaw, IN
  • Own the site's Permit-to-Work and Contractor Safety Management programs
  • Work alongside a client recognized for its proactive, world-class approach to safety.
  • Build lasting partnerships with operations, engineering, facilities, contractors, and EHS professionals.
  • Enjoy the stability of a dedicated client site while remaining connected to SevenGen's collaborative team, technical expertise, and career development opportunities.
Who You'll Work With

Although you'll be embedded full-time at our client's facility, you'll always be part of the SevenGen team.

Day-to-day, you'll partner closely with the client's Environmental, Health & Safety, Facilities, Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, and contractor teams to coordinate work safely and efficiently. You'll also remain connected to SevenGen through regular coaching, technical collaboration, quarterly development conversations, and ongoing support from our Safety Solutions Director and broader team of safety professionals.

You’ll have the autonomy to own your work while knowing you're never on an island.

What You'll Do:

As the on-site Safety Professional, you'll serve as the primary safety resource for contractor work across the facility, helping ensure high-risk work is planned, communicated, and executed safely.

You’ll:

  • Lead the site's Contractor Safety Management program, serving as the primary point of contact for contractors, site leadership, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage the day-to-day Permit-to-Work (PTW) process by reviewing work scopes, evaluating safe work plans and procedures, issuing and modifying permits, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with site requirements.
  • Partner directly with contractors to proactively identify hazards, resolve safety challenges, and develop practical solutions that enable work to move forward safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate closely with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Facilities, Operations, and Maintenance teams to coordinate work activities, communicate changing conditions, and support safe project execution.
  • Monitor contractor activities in the field, verify compliance with permit requirements and site expectations, and provide coaching and guidance when opportunities for improvement are identified.
  • Exercise sound judgment to navigate changing priorities, unexpected conditions, and complex work activities while maintaining a strong focus on risk reduction and operational success.
  • Build trusted working relationships through timely communication, professionalism, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Represent the SevenGen brand each day by delivering exceptional service, demonstrating technical credibility, and embodying our commitment to protecting people and improving workplaces.
